Led by our experienced and highly trained instructors, our contemporary dance classes provide a supportive and collaborative environment for students to explore the art form. With an emphasis on proper technique and safe practices, students will learn the fundamentals of contemporary dance and develop their own unique style through improvisation and choreography.

Whether your child is a seasoned dancer or just beginning their journey, our contemporary dance classes are open to all skill levels. We believe that dance is a powerful tool for self-discovery, physical fitness, and artistic expression, and we are committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

How do I book a trial?To book a trial please complete the form on this page. Once a member of our team has received this they will be in touch within 48 hours to book a date and confirm your details.

How do I pay my fees?Fees can be paid on your parent portal. A link to this is sent once you join the academy. The parent portal gives the guardian of the student access to progress notes, appropriate videos and files and a secure payment software.

What if my child or I am injured and cannot attend class?Unfortuntely term fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn.

Can I pay for drop in classes?We do not offer drop-in classes for school-aged students. Adults can however come to drop in classes where space permits. Please contact us for drop in prices.

Contemporary Dance is a 1 hour class.
​
Students take part in a full cardio and stretch warm up.
​
Students then take part in centre work technique working on plies, jumps, developing flexibility and rhythm.
​
Students then move onto corner work, developing their technique through traveling combinations including floor work. leaps, turns and kicks.
​
In standard classes students work on different routines as well as developing their choreography skills and in show term students work on their pieces towards the production.

​All new students are offered a "7 Day Class Pass" to try as many classes as they like over a week for just £7 to find the best class for them.
